There’s something truly magical about styled shoots—where creativity meets collaboration, and where vendors, models, and photographers come together to create something unforgettable. Recently, James and I had the pleasure of attending a stunning styled shoot at GMV Ranch in Texas, and it was nothing short of amazing. The day was filled with beautiful couples, talented models, and some of the best vendors in the industry. It was the perfect opportunity to refine our skills, capture incredible content, and, most importantly, build lasting connections.
The venue itself was nothing short of breathtaking. GMV Ranch offers a great space for brides to get ready, providing a serene and comfortable environment to prepare for the big day. The reception area is expansive, with vaulted ceilings that add an air of grandeur, and a grand pedestal that perfectly showcases the couple. The outdoor spaces are equally impressive, featuring a picturesque pond, a charming bridge, and large fields that provide the perfect backdrop for stunning images.
One of the highlights of the day was getting to know Koby from Southern Standard Bar. His mobile bar setup is not only visually appealing but also adds a unique, interactive element to any event. Koby’s cool, laid-back personality made him a joy to work with, and his attention to detail in every cocktail he crafts is something that would impress any couple looking to add a special touch to their wedding.
We also had the pleasure of connecting with Gautier Bridal, a bridal shop that offers some of the most stunning gowns I’ve ever seen. Whether you’re looking for a classic, elegant look or something more modern and bold, Gautier Bridal has a gown to fit every bride’s vision. Their collection is diverse, catering to every style and taste, ensuring that every bride feels beautiful on her big day.
Another delightful surprise at the shoot was the Tasty Swirl Company. Not only do they offer the fluffiest, most delicious cotton candy, but they also serve up some incredible ice cream! Their fun, playful setup added a sweet twist to the day, and their products were absolutely delicious. They were such a fun team to work with, bringing a whimsical vibe that any wedding or event would benefit from.
The floral arrangements by Twisted Caribou were simply breathtaking. Specializing in faux florals, Twisted Caribou’s work is both beautiful and sustainable. As you can see from the images, the quality and attention to detail in their arrangements are outstanding. You can truly see the passion and care that goes into every piece, making them a perfect choice for couples who want stunning florals that last beyond the day.
Another standout vendor was Nicole K Currier, who provided the most impressive charcuterie board I’ve ever seen. The grazing table was a work of art, with details like golden blackberries that made it almost too beautiful to eat. Nicole’s warm and inviting personality made the experience even better, and the freshness and quality of her offerings were top-notch. If you’re looking for a charcuterie board that’s as delicious as it is visually stunning, Nicole is the one to call.
Midway through the day, we took a much-needed break to enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by award-winning chef Kaius. His culinary expertise was evident in every bite, and the time and effort he puts into his food is something anyone would be lucky to experience at their wedding or event. Kaius is not just a chef; he’s a true artist, and his dishes are a testament to his passion for creating unforgettable culinary experiences.
The models at the shoot were already stunning, but Dianne Laine Co took their beauty to the next level with her incredible makeup and hair skills. She has a talent for enhancing natural beauty, making each model look effortlessly radiant. Working with Dianne was a true pleasure, and her artistry added an extra layer of elegance to the entire day.
We also had the chance to work with The Well Women Wedding Company and Aniah Social Events Co—two amazing teams that work tirelessly to ensure every event runs smoothly. These ladies are not only incredibly organized and efficient, but they’re also a joy to be around. Their dedication to making sure everything goes off without a hitch is inspiring, and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking to elevate their wedding or event experience.
Lastly, I have to mention Little Lemon Shots, a photo booth vendor that we’ve seen at multiple events, and she never disappoints. If you’re in need of a photo booth for your wedding or event, look no further. Her setup is absolutely adorable, with a well-stocked selection of props that are sure to make your event the cutest ever. She’s not only hilarious and fun to work with but also incredibly professional, making sure every guest has a blast while capturing those unforgettable moments.
Overall, the styled shoot at GMV Ranch was an incredible experience. James and I are so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such talented vendors and to capture the beauty of the day. Building connections with vendors like these is something we deeply enjoy because it gives us a firsthand view into what they offer for our couples. We left the shoot feeling inspired, energized, and even more excited about the amazing work we get to do.
If you’re planning an event and looking for top-notch vendors who are passionate, skilled, and a joy to work with, reach out to any of the wonderful people mentioned here. They will undoubtedly help make your day as amazing as it can be.
